How long does the exam take?

The assessment is 40-question test with no time limit and can be completed at the test-taker's own pace. On average, users take 90 minutes.

How long do I have to take the online class?

Courses are valid for one year after purchase. Once the course has been started, users must complete the ServSafe Food Handler course in 60 days.

How long does my certification last?

The National Restaurant Association recognizes the ServSafe Food Handler Certificate for a three-year period, however, state and employer requirements may vary.
