Local Restaurant Owner Honored As Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year
Pat Buckley, owner of Buckley Enterprises LLC in Green Bay, is being honored as Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year (OROY) by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association (WRA) Green Bay Chapter, made up of Shawano and Brown counties. The OROY award is given by fellow members of the Green Bay Chapter based on success in business, community service and dedication to the restaurant industry.
The OROY award was presented to Buckley on January 24 at a WRA chapter event held in Green Bay. A Legislative Citation was presented to Buckley at the meeting.
On Tuesday, March 14th, Buckley will also be honored with a commendation medal at the 2017 WRA Awards Dinner gala, taking place at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee.
Buckley currently owns and operates 59 Subway locations in WI with over 650 employees and lives in Green Bay with his wife Brenda and two children Taylor and Patrick. He has been a WRA member for over 10 years and is currently serving on the WRA Board. While he has spent over 28 years in the foodservice industry, he is also a retired police officer from the Green Bay Police Department and currently serves as a Brown County Board Supervisor.
