Trey Hester Appointed to National Restaurant Association Board of Directors
Wisconsin Restaurant Association member, board member and past board chairman, Trey Hester, begins his term as a member of the National Restaurant Association board of directors on January 23, 2013.
Hester, President & Chief Operating Officer of Rocky Rococo Restaurants, joined the WRA board of directors in 2002 and served as WRA Board Chairman in 2008.
Hester succeeds John Kavanaugh, owner of the Esquire Club in Madison, who served as an NRA board member for nine years. Joe DeRosa, President of the DeRosa Corporation (which owns and operates several restaurants including Chancery restaurants, Eddie Martinis, Parkside 23, Café West, The Original Pancake House, Seven Sisters and Jose’s Blue Sombrero) also served as an NRA board member for nine years prior to Kavanaugh. Both remain as emeritus members.
“WRA is excited to have Trey Hester represent Wisconsin as part of the NRA board of directors,” said Ed Lump, WRA President & CEO. “We are confident that he will represent our state and our industry well. WRA thanks him for taking on this commitment and would also like to thank John Kavanaugh for his excellent service and dedication in representing Wisconsin on the NRA board for nine years.”
