In existence since 1933, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to supporting the foodservice industry.
WRA membership includes thousands of foodservice businesses representing virtually every size and style of establishment in the state. Restaurateur members include fine dining establishments, mom-and-pop supper clubs, small cafes, fast food outlets, corporate chain restaurants, institutional food service operations, catering businesses and hotel and motel food services, to name a few. In addition to restaurateur and food service operators, WRA has hundreds of Supplier Associate Members that provide goods and services to the restaurant industry.
By uniting in an association, members have access to information and services to help them better run and promote their businesses. And, a strong membership gives WRA a more powerful voice in pursuing its mission to protect, promote and improve the restaurant industry.

WRA is run by an elected board of directors, who set the policies of the association. President and CEO, Edward J. Lump, and a staff of approximately 25 employees manage day-to-day operations. WRA is supported primarily by the dues of its members.
The WRA Education Foundation is governed by its own board of directors and chairperson. Along with the board, Managing Director Bryan Mowry and staff work to fulfill the Foundation’s vision to advance professionalism through education, scholarships and community involvement to ensure the future success of the foodservice industry.
