WRA’s late summer and early fall events are gearing up for you to enjoy. You won’t want to miss out on the networking opportunities while having fun with other industry professionals, all while supporting a great cause. Here’s a synopsis of what’s coming in the next couple of months:
Annual WRA Golf Outing What: An inexpensive four ball scramble where teams will use the best ball on each shot to arrive at one team score. Restaurant Caucus Dinner What: Dine on steak and lobster as you chat with other restaurateurs and legislators that have a history in foodservice. When: Wednesday, September 4 Where: Kavanaugh’s Esquire Club in Madison Why: Event benefits WRA-PAC, which helps elect candidates that go to bat for our industry.

When: Wednesday, October 2 Where: Triple J Wing & Clay in Brillion Why: Event benefits Wisconsin RAF to fund education on policy issues that challenge our industry.
Celebration of Excellence What: A night to honor professionasls dedicated to education and the Education Foundation’s student scholarship winners. When: Sunday, October 13 Where: Jefferson Street Inn in Wausau Why: Event benefits the Education Foundation and helps fund education, scholarships and community involvement.
Sizzling Chili Bowl Throwdown What: High school ProStart students pair up with local restaurants to create the ultimate chili for attendees to sample and vote for their favorite. When: Sunday, October 27 Where: Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan Why: Event benefits the Wisconsin ProStart program for high school students.
